•Zamalek (Egypt) Vs USM Alger (Algeria) – 9pm
Zamalek SC will look to overturn a 1-0 first-leg deficit when they host USM Alger in Saturday’s decisive 2025/26 CAF Confederation Cup final second leg in Cairo.
The Egyptian giants return to Cairo International Stadium hoping their strong home form can inspire another continental comeback after last week’s narrow defeat in Algiers.
USM Alger head into the clash unbeaten in their last three Confederation Cup matches against Egyptian opponents and have lost only once in their last 19 games in the competition.
Zamalek, however, boast an impressive home record in the tournament, losing just once in 24 matches while never conceding more than one goal at home in the competition.
The Algerian side created the better chances in the first leg, registering 23 shots — the highest by any team in a Confederation Cup final since records began in 2016/17.
Forward Ahmed Khaldi remains USM Alger’s key attacking threat with four goals this season, while Zamalek midfielder Mohamed Ismaeil impressed defensively with seven tackles in the first leg.
Both sides are now 90 minutes away from continental glory in what promises to be a tense and closely contested final in Cairo.
