The semifinals matchups for the ongoing USSSA Boys Football Championship have been confirmed after the conclusion of the Quarterfinals.
There is no place for defending champions Buddo SS however, after they lost 1-0 to Kyadondo SS!
Bashir Edema scored the only goal as Kyadondo SS reached the semifinals for the first time.
Mudasir Ijosiga scored the lone goal as Amus College eliminated London College Nansana in the other quarterfinal.
In the other match, Bukedea Comprehensive needed penalty shootouts to eliminate Masaka SS. Normal time ended 1-1 before the East African (FEASSA) Champions won 4-1 in shootouts.
In the last quarterfinal, St Mary’s Kitende made light work of NUMASA, winning 6-0 to storm the semifinals.
All the four semifinals will represent Uganda at the FEASSA Games due August this year in Morogogo, Tanzania.
In the semifinals, record winners St Mary’s Kitende will take on Amus College while the other semifinal will see Kyadondo take on Bukedea Comprehensive.
The semifinals will be played on Monday in Lira.
