The Trinity College Nabbingo Old Girls Association (TCNOGA) has officially launched the fourth edition of its annual Sports Gala, scheduled for August 8 at the Uganda Information and Communications Technology Institute (UICT) Grounds in Nakawa.
The event, unveiled on Wednesday at the same venue, will bring together Trinity College Nabbingo alumni and former students from several schools for a day of sport, entertainment, networking and community fundraising.
TCNOGA President Marie Solome said this year’s gala will feature alumni from leading girls’ schools, including Nabisunsa Girls and Gayaza High School, competing in netball, volleyball, basketball, athletics, tug of war and sack races.
Old boys’ associations from schools such as St. Mary’s College Kisubi (SMACK), St. Henry’s College Kitovu (SHACK), King’s College Budo, Busoga College Mwiri, Namilyango College and Busoga College Butiki will also take part, with football expected to be one of the headline attractions.

“It’s a day-long event, and we invite alumni from schools across the country to join us. Besides the sports, there will be entertainment, including a fusion dance competition featuring music from the 80s, 90s and 2000s. We are also honoured to host Owek. Robert Waggwa Nsibirwa, the Second Deputy Katikkiro, as our chief guest,” said Marie.
Beyond the competition, this year’s gala will also serve as a fundraising platform aimed at supporting community initiatives.
Entertainment will be centred around the Guinness Party Village, which will feature music, brand activations and fan experiences throughout the day.
Guinness Brand Manager Denise Nazzinda said the company remains committed to supporting alumni sport and community engagement.
“Guinness has proudly supported alumni sports across Uganda for several years. While many know us through established old boys’ leagues, we are equally proud to partner with women’s alumni associations like TCNOGA because we believe alumni sport is for everyone. These events allow people to reconnect, celebrate shared heritage and build stronger communities,” she said.
Other partners for the 2026 TCNOGA Sports Gala include Crown Beverages (Pepsi), Pride Bank, St. Catherine’s Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital Wakiso, Next Media, MTN MoMo, Capital FM, Sumz Snacks, Victoria University, Old Mutual and KCCA.
