National Basketball League: Fixture, Venues for Second Round

NBL Fixtures

Federation of Uganda Basketball Associations (FUBA) has released the National Basketball League fixture for the second round.

The second round will tip off on April 24 at Lugogo, 12 days since the climax of the first round.

The opening night will see JT Lady Jaguars face UCU Lady Canons which will be followed by a men’s fixture between Sommet and JT Jaguars.

The Second Round will go on until June 12 as teams jostle for top eight teams places, across the two men and women divisions, for playoffs.

Notably, a weekend of May 22-24 will see games played at the new Hoima City Stadium, marking the first time the top flight will be played in that part of the country.

Among the notable fixtures that will be played in Hoima is a blockbuster between Namuwongo Blazers and City Oilers, a repeat of last year’s final.

The games will be played both at Hoima’s Indoor and Outdoor courts. FUBA earlier confirmed Hoima will host the FIBA AfroBasket U18 Zone V Qualifiers from June 14 to 20, 2026.
