The Uganda Cranes have arrived in Morocco ahead of two international friendly matches scheduled for this month in Marrakech.
The national team contingent departed Uganda on Sunday and has now settled in Morocco as preparations intensify for encounters against Tanzania on June 5 and Madagascar on June 8.
Four foreign-based players travelled with the locally based squad from Uganda. These include Allan Okello of Yanga SC, Rogers Mato of Hearts of Oak, Travis Mutyaba of CS Sfaxien, and Aziz Kayondo of Slovan Liberec.
The remaining foreign-based players are expected to join the team directly in Morocco before the friendlies.
The matches form part of Uganda’s preparations for upcoming international assignments, including the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, which Uganda will co-host alongside Kenya and Tanzania.
The friendlies will provide head coach Paul Put with an opportunity to assess his squad.
