Rezlife Saints battered Kampala Rockets 110-47 in a National Basketball League game played on Saturday at the YMCA Court in Wandegeya.
The Saints raced to a 30-9 first-quarter lead and never looked back, reaching the 100-point mark with four minutes still left in the final quarter.
Kevin Moru led the scoring with 19 points, while Edrine Ekau and Hon Kwany added 18 points apiece. Arnold Kisekka chipped in with 11 points as Rezlife secured a dominant victory.
All 12 Rezlife Saints players got on the scoresheet in a completely one-sided contest.
For Kampala Rockets, Francis Kasinde scored 14 points and Brian Opio added 10, but their efforts were not enough to prevent another heavy defeat.
The teams were tied 36-36 in rebounds, but the Rockets struggled offensively, missing 15 of their 19 three-point attempts. They also committed 36 turnovers and received just four points from their bench compared to Rezlife Saints’ 57.
The victory was Rezlife Saints’ 15th in 19 games, keeping them on course to finish third in the regular-season standings behind City Oilers and Nam Blazers.
Kampala Rockets, meanwhile, are all but relegated after managing just two wins from 19 games this season.
