I&M Bank Serena 63 Golf Series returns for 2026 season

The I&M Bank Serena 63 Golf Series is back for the 2026 season with an extended 28-week calendar aimed at keeping amateur golfers active and competitive throughout the year.

The 2026 season was officially launched on Wednesday, April 22, at the Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort and Spa in Kigo, the host venue for the series.

The launch event featured fun golf challenges including longest drive and nearest-to-the-pin contests involving teams from Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort, title sponsors I&M Bank, and members of the press.

The season-long competition will be played under a full handicap Stableford format, with players earning points from every round. Only the best 18 scores will count toward the final standings.

Lake Victoria Serena Golf Director Theo Van Rooyen said the format is designed to ensure golfers remain engaged throughout the season.

Participants must complete at least six rounds per quarter to qualify for quarterly prizes and a minimum of 18 rounds overall to compete for the grand prizes.

The series will have three major events scheduled for June 20, September 12, and the grand finale on November 14, with top performers in both main and subsidiary categories set to be rewarded.
