Nam Blazers made light work of JKL Dolphins, cruising to a 93-47 victory in a one-sided National Basketball League clash on Saturday at Rezlife Court in Lubowa.

The Blazers asserted their authority early, taking a commanding 25-4 lead in the opening quarter.

They extended the advantage to 27 points at halftime and 44 by the end of the third quarter on their way to a dominant 46-point win.

Peter Obleng starred with a double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds, while Nyembo Fataki and Ivan Muhwezi added 15 and 11 points respectively.

Arthur Wanyoto and James Okello also chipped in with 10 points apiece for the Blazers.

Shane Birungi and Ichut Agot scored 10 points each for JKL Dolphins in defeat.

Despite the emphatic win, the Blazers struggled from beyond the arc, missing 21 of their 27 three-point attempts, and also committed 23 turnovers.

The victory marks the Blazers’ 13th straight win since their opening-game loss to City Oilers.

Stephen Nyeko’s side has also completed a season double over JKL Dolphins after winning the first-round meeting 68-49.

For JKL Dolphins, it was an 11th defeat of the season, having managed just five wins so far, leaving their survival hopes hanging in the balance.
