Express FC head coach Morley Byekwaso has rallied his side to fight for victory when they face Kitara in a Uganda Premier League encounter at Nakivubo Stadium on Thursday.
Byekwaso believes his team has had adequate preparations and is confident the Red Eagles can secure maximum points.
“We have prepared as usual. The boys have geared up to make sure we can win the game,” said Byekwaso.
“We have improved in our setups, and this game will determine how far we can go.
“We are facing a good team with experienced players and coaches, but we will use all means to pick up the much-needed win.”
The coach also revealed that the team has no fresh injury concerns and is likely to field almost the same side that featured against SC Villa in their previous outing.
Express have collected three points from their opening three matches, with their only victory coming against KCCA, alongside defeats to BUL and SC Villa.
Kitara, meanwhile, have one point from their only league game so far — a 1-1 draw against SC Villa at Wankulukuku.
Their matches against URA and Mbarara City were postponed as they competed in the CAF Confederation Cup, where they eliminated Mogadishu FC to set up a second-round tie against Egyptian giants Al Ahly.
