•Bronze: Butambala Vs Bugerere, 12pm
•Final: Kyaggwe Vs Gomba – 4pm
Kyaggwe will be chasing their maiden Masaza Cup title when they face record champions Gomba in the 2026 final at Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku, on Saturday.
The final kicks off at 4pm, with Gomba targeting a sixth title in their 11th appearance in the final.
Kyaggwe last reached the final in 2024 when they lost to Buddu, and will be hoping for success this time round.
Calvin Peter Emayo of Entebbe UPPC and Derrick Taremwa of UPDF remain doubtful for Kyaggwe who eliminated Bugerere in the semifinals.
Gomba, meanwhile, are determined to reclaim the title after a disappointing 2025 campaign in which they failed to progress beyond the group stage.
Gomba have won the competition five times, making them the most successful county in the tournament’s history.
Gomba, coached by Felix Ssekabuuza, will be relying heavily on Striker Meddie Kasule – currently tops the tournament scoring chart with six goals.
Kyaggwe will look to Lauben Lubwama for goals. He has scored five times, one behind Kasule, and remains in contention for the Golden Boot alongside Butambala’s Dathan Mubiru and Ssese’s Raymond Kayemba, who have also scored five goals.
The two finalists have been evenly matched in recent meetings. Their two encounters this season ended in 1-1 draws, on July 19 at Kabulasoke PTC Stadium and August 23 at Bishops SS Stadium. They also drew 1-1 in September 2024.
Saturday’s final will follow the third-place playoff between Butambala and Bugerere, scheduled for midday at the same venue.
