•KCCA 3-0 Maroons
Entebbe UPPC completed a league double over UPDF FC with a 2-0 victory on Thursday in the Uganda Premier League at the Fisheries Ground in Bugonga.
Isa Bugembe and Muhamad Kyeyune scored a goal each to hand Abdallah Mubiru’s side maximum points.
UPPC got an early breakthrough when George Kiryowa picked out Bugembe, who beat his markers before bundling the ball home.
They doubled their advantage with two minutes to play, as Kyeyune drilled in a free-kick to leave goalkeeper Richard Anyama stunned.

Anyama had earlier denied Ambrose Kigozi on a couple of occasions throughout the match.
The visitors also created a few decent chances, but Ivan Bogere and Enrique Lubwama both failed to beat Denis Otim.
It was back-to-back wins for Entebbe UPPC, who recently defeated Calvary FC 2-0.
The result also completed a league double for UPPC, who beat UPDF 1-0 in the first round in January in Bombo, courtesy of a Kigozi strike.
Entebbe UPPC, sixth on the table with 46 points, have now won 13 of their 27 games this season.

Alex Gitta’s UPDF, on the other hand, remain 14th with 21 points, just five above the relegation zone.
