JT Lady Jaguars beat Nabisunsa 111-32 to finish the regular season of the National Basketball League at the top of the standings on Sunday at the YMCA Court in Wandegeya.
The Lady Jaguars raced to a 25-7 lead after the first quarter before extending their advantage to 54-18 at halftime. They never looked back, cruising to a 79-point victory — the biggest winning margin in the league this season.
Seven JT Lady Jaguars players scored in double figures, led by Azida Nabayunga with 20 points. Brenda Kayaga and Maimuna Nabbosa added 16 and 14 points respectively.
Mercy Batamuliza recorded a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds, while also contributing six assists and six steals.

Sandra Ayikoru (13 points), Shakirah Namvubya (12) and Mary Priscillar Nambogo (12) also scored in double digits for the Lady Jaguars.
Genesis Jasiem, who scored 12 points, was the only Nabisunsa player to reach double figures.
Nabisunsa came into the game already relegated after losing to Miracle Eaglets on Saturday.
Their leading player, Abigail Mpoza, was held scoreless in a campaign in which she has averaged double figures.
Nabisunsa struggled throughout the contest, shooting just 1-for-27 from three-point range, committing 31 turnovers and being outrebounded 66-40.
JT Lady Jaguars finish the regular season atop the standings with a 20-2 record from 22 games. Their only defeats came against JKL Lady Dolphins and Magic Stormers.
UCU Lady Canons will equal the 42 points tally of they win their remaining three games against KCCA Leopards, JKL Lady Dolphins and Miracle Eaglets, but JT have a better head to head having beaten the side on both meetings this season.
