•JKL Lady Dolphins Vs JT Lady Jaguars – 7pm
•Nam Blazers Vs City Oilers – 9pm
Namuwongo Blazers will be seeking revenge when they face City Oilers on Friday in the National Basketball League at Lugogo.
The Blazers lost 74-65 to the Oilers in the season opener on February 6, 2026.
Only Peter Obleng (11) and Moses Mugisha (10) scored in double figures for Namuwongo in that game, where they shot just 7-for-30 from three-point range.
However, the Blazers will take confidence from the fact that they were without injured Tony Drileba, while Anthony Chukwurah had not yet returned to the country. Kasereka Tembo has also since joined the side as a mid-season recruit.
Namuwongo bounced back from that defeat to win 15 straight games before Wednesday’s shocking loss to Rezlife Saints in Lubowa.

Against Rezlife, the Blazers were outrebounded 48-45 and missed 19 of their 25 attempts from beyond the arc in a game where they failed to contain Edrine Ekau, who poured in 32 points.
City Oilers, meanwhile, suffered their only defeat of the season in the first round against Rezlife Saints but have since won 16 straight games, including a second-round victory over Rezlife.
The Oilers beat Kampala Rockets 92-63 in their previous outing, with Joel Lukoji and Fayed Baale scoring 20 points apiece.
Lukoji will come up against his former side, while the Blazers boast former Oilers players Tony Drileba, Ivan Muhwezi, James Okello and Jimmy Enabu.

The Oilers have also added Jonathan Komagum, who registered 12 points and seven rebounds against the Rockets.
Patrick Rembert and Germaine Roebuck Jr., the club’s other new signings, are expected to join the team after the regular season.
