Namuwongo Blazers will be looking to complete a season double over Rezlife Saints when the two sides face off in the National Basketball League on Wednesday in Lubowa.

The Blazers won the first-round meeting 73-56 in March and will be confident of securing another victory.

Moses Mugisha scored 21 points in that game, while Henry Ssebagala and Peter Obleng added 13 and 11 points respectively.

For Rezlife, Duot Ajang recorded a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds, while Kevin Moru and Hon Kwany contributed 14 and 12 points respectively, though their efforts were not enough.

Namuwongo head into the contest on a 15-game winning streak since losing their season opener to City Oilers.

In their most recent outing, they defeated UPDF Tomahawks on Saturday at ABJA Park in Naalya.

Despite a slow start that saw them trail 15-13 after the opening quarter, the Blazers recovered strongly to register a deserved victory.

Anthony Chukwurah starred with a double-double of 16 points and 12 rebounds as Namuwongo dominated the boards 58-48 against UPDF.

Rezlife, meanwhile, have won 12 games and lost four this season, with two of those defeats coming in the second round against UCU Canons and City Oilers.

However, they have responded well, winning their last three games against Victoria Crocs, Sommet and UMU Flames.
