Former Express FC and URA FC forward Anwar Ntege is set to join Uganda Premier League side Entebbe UPPC, SportsNation Uganda can reliably confirm.
The forward has been on the radar of Abdallah Mubiru’s side, with Ntege already featuring regularly in training sessions since the club began their pre-season preparations.
Ntege is expected to become Entebbe UPPC’s sixth signing of the transfer window after Ibrahim Mugulusi, Grant Matsiko, Sharif Ssengendo and Swadik Moro.
The attacker joins Entebbe UPPC with Uganda Premier League experience, having previously featured for Buhimba United Saints, BUL FC, Express FC and URA FC.
Entebbe UPPC are preparing for the FUFA Super 8 and the upcoming Uganda Premier League season as they aim for an improved campaign after finishing sixth last season under Mubiru.
