KCCA FC unveils Ibrahim Kasule

KCCA FC have completed the signing of midfielder Ibrahim Owen Kasule on a two-year contract ahead of the 2026/27 Uganda Premier League season.

The 22-year-old returns to Uganda after three years in the United States, where he featured for New York Red Bulls II and later the senior New York Red Bulls side in Major League Soccer.

Kasule scored 28 goals in 64 appearances for New York Red Bulls II in MLS Next Pro, earning promotion to the senior team. He also had a loan spell at Connecticut United FC earlier this year.

The attacking midfielder began his career with Wakiso Giants, where he enjoyed a breakthrough 2022/23 season, scoring five goals and providing six assists in 14 league appearances.

He also had a brief spell with Turkish side Ankara Keçiörengücü before moving to the United States.

Kasule has represented Uganda at senior level, earning his first Cranes call-up in 2023.

He becomes KCCA’s latest addition including Yunus Sibira, Charles Lwanga, Maxwell Owachgiu and Elvis Ngonde.
