All eyes will be on Lugazi FC coach Abbey Bogere Kikomeko when he faces his former employers BUL FC in a Uganda Premier League clash at Najjembe on Tuesday.
Kikomeko was sacked by BUL in December last year following a poor run of results that saw the Jinja-based side lose five consecutive league games against Kitara (1-0), Entebbe UPPC (2-0), KCCA FC (2-1), Vipers (3-1) and Police (3-1).
His departure ended a spell at the club during which he won two FUFA Super 8 titles and guided BUL to a second-place finish in the 2023/24 season.
Appointed Lugazi FC coach in June this year, Kikomeko has won two of his five league games in charge, beating Entebbe UPPC and Kigezi Homeboyz.
His other three matches have ended in defeats against NEC, Police and Maroons.
Meanwhile, BUL head into the encounter in impressive form under Kikomeko’s successor, Alex Isabirye, who has guided the side to the top of the league standings with four wins from as many games against Express, Kataka, Ntugasaze and Blacks Power.
