Four teams failed to honour their FUFA Women’s Cup matches as the 2026 tourney kicked off with Round of 32 on Sunday.

The four include FUFA Women Super League side Olila High Women Football Club who were set to play hosts Buheesi Valley in Western Uganda!

This compounds Olila’s misery this season, the side that has already been relegated from FUFA Women Super League in a campaign they failed to honour two league fixtures against Uganda Martyrs and St Noa.

UPDF failed to honour their match against Sheema Girls, Tooro Queens were a no-show against Lamancia Women while Pabo United also did not honour their away match agaisnt Police Women.

FUFA is yet to comment on the matter, but the Disciplinary Panel (FDP) is expected to give a walkover for the home teams as they secure places at the Round Two.

Twelve (12) teams have already confirmed their progress from the 12 physically played matches.

Uganda Martyrs Junior team beat Rines 2-0, with Lydia Namayanja and Ssanyu Nambuya scoring the goals.

She Maroons cruised past Kangulumira in Kayunga in a 7-0 win, with Judith Ssanyu and Lilian Kasuubo each scoring twice, while Jackline Adong, Kauthara Naluyima, and Lilian Mutuuzo also found the back of the net for the visitors

Makerere University also put seven past hosts Buhimba Lady Saints while UCU Lady Cardinals handed Kick it women fc 8-1 defeat.

It’s strong to note that the previous Quarter-Finalists that include Amus College WFC (Cup Winners), Kampala Queens FC, Uganda Martyrs Lubaga FC, She Corporate FC, St. Noa Girls FC, Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC, Lady Doves FC and Wakiso Hill, received a bye to Round of 16.
