KCCA FC returned to winning ways with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Maroons in a Uganda Premier League match played on Thursday at Lugogo.
Ashraf Mugume, Herbert Achayi and Ivan Ahimbisibwe were all on target as KCCA cruised past the Prisons Warders.
Mugume broke the deadlock with a well-taken header after Ahimbisibwe nodded Gavin Kizito’s cross into his path.
Achayi doubled the lead in the 86th minute, finding himself with enough space to unleash a left-footed strike past goalkeeper Simon Tamale, who was left rooted to the spot.

Ahimbisibwe sealed the victory at the stroke of full time, reacting quickest to Mugume’s pass to beat Tamale for KCCA’s third goal.
Maroons’ best opportunity came through Raymond Walugembe, but goalkeeper Mutwalibu Mugolofa pulled off a fine save to deny him.
The victory sees KCCA bounce back after defeat to Calvary and a late draw against Vipers in their previous matches.
KCCA move second on the table with 55 points, four behind leaders Vipers, who face URA on Friday.
For Maroons, it was their ninth defeat of the season. The Prisons Warders remain ninth on the table with 34 points.
