Police FC will fancy their chances of maintaining their perfect start when they take on Blacks Power in their second Uganda Premier League match at Hoima City Stadium.

Police got off the mark in Matchweek One with a 1-0 victory over Mbarara City, with Ivan Mayanja scoring the only goal of the game.

Goalkeeper Hadji Shakira, who started the match, is one of the club’s new signings under coach Matia Lule, while Siraje Sentamu started on the bench.

Kizito Rayan Figo and Brian James Obedi are among the departures from the Peacekeepers, who finished seventh with 47 points last season.

Blacks Power, meanwhile, are temporarily using Hoima City Stadium after their home ground, Ebenezer Playground in Lira, failed to meet the licensing requirements.

Coached by Simon Peter Mugerwa, Blacks Power also started the season with a win, beating fellow newcomers Ntugasaze 1-0 at Hoima City Stadium in Matchweek One. Andrea Noll Ogwal scored the decisive goal.
