Police FC completed a Uganda Premier League double over UPDF FC after a 2-0 victory at Kira Road playground in Kamwokya.
Charles Bbaale and Brian James Obedi scored a goal each as Matia Lule’s side cruised to a deserved victory.
Bbaale struck from a freekick, after a foul on Umar Kasumba, taking a good whip with his left foot that found the top corner just after eight minutes.
The second arrived seven minutes into the second stanza with Obedi, after rounding off Steven Kawuka, fired into the back of Richard Anyama’s goal.

The win sees Police return to winning ways after Matia Lule’s side had suffered a 3-1 away defeat to Maroons at Wankulukuku.
Police have beaten UPDF home and away this season having earlier defeated the side 2-1 at Bombo in the first round thanks to goals from Deus Bukenya and Derrick Maviri.
UPDF who had collected four points in their last two games against URA and BUL, remain third from the bottom with 21 points, six above safety.
