Paidha Black Angels will be seeking to return to winning ways as they welcome Kigezi Homeboyz in the FUFA Big League encounter on Thursday at Barokoro stadium.
Paidha come into this fixture after back to back draws against Kaaro Karungi and Bunyaruguru United.
That run has seen the side drop out of the four-promotion slots, and currently sit fifth with 37 points after 24 games.
And they could have been higher but they were docked two points in November by FUFA Disciplinary panel following hooliganism acts in a match agaisnt Ntugasaze.
It has been a difficult spell for Paidha Black Angels since suffering relegation from Uganda Premier League in 2019, with the side relegated to Regional League in 2021. But they sealed promotion back to Big League in 2024 and are eyeing a return to top flight.
The visitors, Kigezi Homeboyz on the other hand, are seeking promotion for the very first time.
They sit second on the table with 42 points, and will go top if FUFA credits adds their three points after Mbale Heroes failed to show up for their match over the weekend in Kabale.
And they head to Paidha a more rested side after a weekend of no action.
Head coach Sadick Ssempigi, appointed in August last year, is at the helm of the club and is a no stranger to West Nile having worked with Onduparaka before.
Henry Kitegenyi is among the stars to look out for as Kigezi HomeBoyz target their 12th win of the season.
