Paidha Black Angels have maintained their perfect start to the 2026/27 FUFA Big League season after beating Kiyinda Boys 1-0 at Bar Okoro Stadium in Paidha on Sunday.
Michael Ssimbwa scored the only goal of the game as Paidha secured maximum points in their first home match of the season.
The result means Paidha have won both of their opening two matches, having beaten Kaaro Karungi on matchday one last week.
They now lead the standings with six points.
Paidha Black Angels, who were relegated from the Uganda Premier League in the 2018/19 season, are targeting a return to the top flight this campaign.
It has been a complicated spell for Paidha Black Angels who were once relegated to Regional League in 2021 before bouncing back in 2024.
The team, coached by Mark Twinamatsiko, has stars like Brian Majwega and will fancy their chances to go all the way this season.

Young Elephant beat Calvary 2-0, and Amus College thrashed Buwambo United 3-0.
