URA FC confirm first signing of the season

Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URA FC) have completed the signing of winger Muhammad Kyeyune from Entebbe UPPC FC on a three-year contract.

Kyeyune becomes the Tax Collectors’ first signing ahead of the 2026/27 season as the club strengthens its squad under new head coach Jimmy Kintu.

The attacking player impressed during the 2025/26 campaign with Entebbe UPPC, where he recorded two goals and three assists before securing a move to URA FC.

The left-footed winger, who can play on either flank and as a number 10, previously featured for Muhazi United in Rwanda between 2023 and 2025, contributing nine goals and eight assists.

Kyeyune started his football journey at KCCA Soccer Academy before playing for Maroons FC, Soltilo Bright Stars, Muhazi United and Entebbe UPPC.

The new signing expressed his excitement about joining URA FC, promising to work hard and help the club achieve its targets in the upcoming season.

His arrival marks the start of URA FC’s squad rebuild as they prepare for a competitive 2026/27 campaign under coach Jimmy Kintu Mwera.
