Queen Cranes Squad: Uganda Step Away From U20 World Cup Qualification

The Uganda U20 Women’s National Team (Queen Cranes) camp squad has been summoned ahead of their African qualifiers for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup 2026 against Ghana.

The Queen Cranes will face the West African giants, with two ties set to be played between 1st–3rd May and 9th May 2026.

This is the final hurdle of the qualification process for a place at the FIFA U20 World Cup later this year in September in Poland.

Uganda reached this stage having eliminated Namibia and Zambia at the previous rounds.

Tanzania face Cameroon, Ivory Coast take on Benin while Nigeria meet Malawi in other ties, with winners qualifying to the World Cup.
