City Oilers have beaten Namuwongo Blazers 79-75 in Game Two of the National Basketball League Finals at Lugogo, leveling the best-of-seven series at 1-1.
Oilers, who lost Game One on Wednesday, trailed 22-25 after the opening quarter before turning the game around in the second period.
Jonathan Komagum led the charge with a double-double of 14 points and 11 rebounds, while Patrick Rembert and Fayed Bbaale added 18 and 12 points respectively.
Nyembo Fataki top-scored for Blazers with a game-high 28 points, while Anthony Chuckwurah and Innocent Ochera contributed 18 and 10 points respectively.
Blazers also welcomed back Nyemeck Leonel Kevin, but he managed just two points.
Oilers dominated the bench scoring 25-12 and edged the rebounding battle 47-46.
Blazers, however, struggled from long range, making just one of their 26 three-point attempts.
The series is now tied 1-1, with Game Three set for Sunday as Oilers continue their bid to reclaim the title they lost to Blazers last season.
