Defending champions Stanbic Black Pirates will face Toyota Buffaloes in the 2026 Uganda Rugby Premiership final at Kings Park Arena, Bweyogerere, on Saturday.
Pirates are aiming to become the first club to successfully defend the Premiership title under the current playoff format introduced in 2024.
The Sea Robbers reached the final after edging Platinum Credit Heathens 36-30 on aggregate, winning the first leg 15-3 before losing the return leg 27-21.
Heathens remain the only team to have beaten Pirates in the league this season.
Toyota Buffaloes secured their place in the final with a dominant 48-23 aggregate victory over Makerere Impis.
They won the first leg 20-11 away before sealing qualification with a 28-12 home victory, reaching their first Premiership final since 2013.
Buffaloes are chasing their first-ever Uganda Rugby Premiership title.
Their only previous final appearance ended in defeat to Heathens, with current head coach Charles Onen playing as scrumhalf in that 2013 side.
The two finalists met once during the regular season, with Pirates claiming a narrow 23-17 victory over Buffaloes in February.
The day will begin with a curtain-raiser between the Uganda U20 Select side and the Uganda U23 Select XV at 1:30 pm, before attention shifts to the title decider.
